There are many ways to make money online in Pakistan from the comfort of your home. One of them is application or apps monetization. There are multiple platforms available on which you can develop your app, publish and monetize it.

Android App Development

We presume you know how to develop an android app. If not, then we suggest you to look at android apps development tutorials. Also read about creating ads layout in your app.

Google Admob

Google Admob is your platform for creating ad units (same as in google adsense) and putting their code in your application. Google Admob supports two types of ads in your app i.e. Banner and Interstitial.

Where to Start?

Let’s start by signing up with Admob . Once you have signed up, you will be presented with dashboard where you can find information about your estimated ads revenue share, apps and the ads unit if you have created.

You will find four tabs on Home page. The first tab Home summarizes everything about your apps usage and earnings in terms of numerical values as well as graphs.

Monetize tab shows you list of ads you have created and performance report as shown below.

You can create new ad either banner or interstitial by clicking red button “New ad unit” as shown above and you will be forwarded to a page where you can select banner type and fill information as follows.

The options are self-explanatory, so I am not going into details. You can see the snapshot of how your ad will look like in your app. You can change its style with Text ad style drop down menu. Once you are done, click Save. After saving you will be presented with Ad ID and View Setup Instructions which is very straight forward. Follow the information and embed the ads in your app.
How to get more downloads of your app?
Upload it to your blog or some website, get the link and share it on social network sites or If you can share it on Google play, Amazon Android App Store as well.
